Introduction
Power Tots is offered at preschools,
daycare facilities, elementary schools, parks/recreation
departments, or any venue where children are gathered.
We provide high quality dance, gymnastics and yoga instruction
to children 18 months to 12 years of age.
Power Tots provides high quality exercise that most
children really should add to their lifestyle each week.
Our curriculums challenge children and at the same time
it is a fun and positive environment for children to
learn how to incorporate fitness into their lives. Our
programs provide a very effective way to instill a healthy
attitude towards fitness that will impact children throughout
their lives. This positive association with fitness
will lead to a healthy adolescence and adult hood. Power
Tots progresses with each child as their skills become
more advanced and keep all exercises age appropriate.
Power Tots is not only great for the body but is great
for the mind too. Because we “believe in the power
of a positive attitude," all children who participate
in our program know that they are doing great things.
Self-confidence soars and a natural improvement in fine
and gross motor skills develop. Our participants are
able to rest easier and have more energy throughout
the day. This is not all; balance, flexibility, coordination
and all around awareness of mind and body are also results
of our superior curriculums. Our no competition environment
allows each child to work with their own body learning
moves and exercises and always leaving feeling great
about themselves.

Our
Story
Power Tots began in 1985 at one
daycare center with 16 children by Kathi Donnelly. Since
then Power Tots has grown and is now taught in over
40 centers to over 1000 students. Kathi started Power
Tots because of her love for dance and gymnastics and
a deep desire to share this love with children.
Kathi was a competitive gymnast
with the United States Gymnastics Federation for eight
years and began dancing in 1978. As well as winning
numerous state and regional titles, she has also performed
at the White House, Kennedy Center, and Disney World,
as well as appearing on Star Search. Kathi has also
performed in USO tours in Germany, Israel, and Egypt.
As a dance instructor Kathi
choreographed nationally recognized ensembles in several
competitive sectors. Her awards range from choreographer
of the year, to highest score, to most innovative.
As the mother of 4 children
and with over 28 years of teaching experience, Kathi
has designed a great curriculum that challenges, entertains,
and teaches young children the joy of gymnastics and
dance while improving coordination and building confidence.
Her commitment and passion to make a positive impact
on childhood development sets her curriculum apart from
any other program offered.

Mission
and Philosophy
Power Tots Gymnastics, Dance
and Yoga's mission is to consistently provide high quality
instruction in a fun, safe and positive environment.
Programs are designed to challenge and educate children
in multiple aspects of their lives. Fine and gross motor
skills are developed and enhanced along with the overall
physical and emotional well being of each child. Every
goal is reached with the effort and execution of our
belief in the "Power of a Positive Attitude"
along with the rotating curriculums that expose all
aspects of dance, gymnastics and yoga. Our challenging
curriculums in our programs are designed to reach our
goals of increased self confidence, a positive association
with fitness, increased physical health, all while learning
muscle groups, shapes, numbers and colors. Through continued
growth Power Tots will be able sustain a positive influence
on children throughout the world.
Power Tots main philosophy believes
in the “Power of a Positive Attitude”! We
know that if you start with a positive outlook that
anything is possible. This positive attitude is essential
in every position of the company. Every goal as an individual,
instructor, manager or director is accomplished more
rapidly and with ease when the “Power of a Positive
Attitude” is applied. This positive attitude is
also the basis of our continued success. This attitude
has been the origin in which we turn young children
into active, happy, healthy and confident human beings.
