Brooke Howells
CEO
Brooke joined the Power Tots team in August 2002 as a gymnastics instructor and taking on small administrative tasks in addition to teaching. Working under founder Kathi Donnelly and co-owner Shaun Donnelly, she began to develop new improvements and processes to the company's administrative operations. As the business grew, Brooke moved from teaching to the home office full-time and became Assistant Director under previous owner Kelly Sorenson. She stepped in as Director in Spring 2019 and was named CEO in Spring 2022 under current owner Trevor Barnett. She currently serves on the Board of Directors for Hope in Harmony, a local non-profit outreach organization, and has previously volunteered and served with other non-profit organizations in the Southern Maryland area. In her free time, Brooke enjoys traveling, spending time with her family, and choreographing for local youth theater productions.

Reinforcing positive discipline, promoting a healthy lifestyle and boosting self-confidence are just some of the things that our program does and I’m proud to be a part of it. The physical and mental health and well-being of a child are so vital and should be nurtured and we do that through the fun and excitement of gymnastics, yoga and dance. I wish I had Power Tots as a kid!”
